RRB Junior Engineer Admit Card 2026: Railway Recruitment Board has released the Admit Card / Exam City Details on its official website for the RRB JE Examination 2026. The exam will be conducted in 19, 20 & 25 February 2026, and the last date to submit the application form was 10 December 2025. All eligible candidates can download their admit card online at Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) official rrb.digialm.com from 15 February 2026 onwards for RRB JE recruitment examination 2026.

RRB JE Recruitment 2025 Educational Qualification
- To be eligible for the RRB JE 2025 Recruitment Registration Process for the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), Junior Engineer (Information Technology Branch), and Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), candidates must meet the following essential Educational / Technical qualifications:

RRB JE Recruitment 2025 Process
- The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages:
- (i) 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I)
- (ii) 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT-II)
- (iii) Document Verification (DV)
- (iv) Medical Examination (ME)
RRB JE CBT-1 Exam Pattern
a. Mathematics: Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM and HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.
b. General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
c. General Awareness: Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General Scientific and technological developments etc.
d. General Science: Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to 10th Standard CBSE syllabus)
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories:
- UR -40%, EWS-40%, OBC(NCL)-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. This is also applicable to Ex-servicemen candidates, as per their community. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 marks for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
RRB JE CBT-2 Exam Pattern
- Short listing of Candidates for the 2nd Stage CBT exam shall be based on the normalized marks obtained by them in the 1st Stage CBT Exam.
- Total number of candidates to be shortlisted for 2nd Stage shall be 15 times the community wise total vacancy of Posts notified against the RRB as per their merit in 1st Stage CBT. However, Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this limit in total or for any specific category(s) as required to ensure availability of adequate candidates for all the notified posts.
A) General Awareness: Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and Constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General Scientific and Technological Developments etc.
B) Physics and Chemistry: Up to 10th standard CBSE syllabus.
C) Basics of Computers and Applications: Architecture of Computers; input and Output devices; Storage devices, Networking, Operating System like Windows, Unix, Linux; MS Office; Various data representation; Internet and Email; Websites & Web Browsers; Computer Virus.
D) Basics of Environment and Pollution Control: Basics of Environment; Adverse effect of environmental pollution and control strategies; Air, water and Noise pollution, their effect and control; Waste Management, Global warming; Acid rain; Ozone depletion.
E) Technical Abilities: The educational qualifications mentioned against each post shown in Annexure-A, have been grouped into different exam groups as below. Questions on the Technical abilities will be framed in the syllabus defined for various Exam Groups given at Annexure-VII-A, B, C, D,& E.
How To Download RRB JE Admit Card 2026?
- The LINK for viewing the Exam City & Date and downloading of Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made live 10 days prior to the exam date on the official websites of all RRBs.
- Downloading of E-Call letters will start 4 days prior to exam date mentioned in Exam City and Date intimation LINK.
- Aadhaar linked biometric authentication of candidates will be done in the exam centre prior to entry in the exam hall. Candidates are required to bring their original Aadhaar card or printout of e-verified Aadhaar. Candidates are advised to authenticate their identification through Aadhaar verification, if not done already, by logging in with their credentials at www.rrbapply.gov.in to facilitate smooth entry into the examination centre.
- Candidates, including those, who have verified their Aadhaar during the application submission stage, are requested in their own interest to ensure that their Aadhaar remains in unlocked condition in the UIDAI system before coming to exam centre to avoid inconvenience and facilitate registration and exam-related processes on the exam day.
