DSSSB JE, AE, ASO Recruitment 2026 Eligibility
Legal Assistant: Degree in Law from a recognized university.Three years’ experience as Legal Practitioner or one year experience in Legal work in a Government Department.
Assistant Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
Assistant Section Officer: Bachelor Degree from a recognized University / Institute.
Junior Engineer (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university OR Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university / Board / Institute plus two years’ experience in planning, execution and maintenance of civil engineering works.

A. Technical Posts (JE & AE)
- The technical section (Section B) consists of 100 questions (200 marks) focused on the core engineering domain.
- Civil Engineering: Building Materials, Estimating, Costing and Valuation, Surveying, Soil Mechanics, Hydraulics, Irrigation Engineering, Transportation Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.
- Electrical Engineering: Basic concepts, Circuit law, Magnetic Circuits, AC Fundamentals, Measurement and Measuring instruments, Electrical Machines, Fractional Kilowatt Motors, Generation, Transmission, and Distribution.
B. Legal Assistant (Law)

How To Apply DSSSB JE, AE, ASO Online Form 2026?
- Before submitting online applications, candidate must ensure that he/she is registered on DSSSB’s portal i.e. https://dsssbonline.nic.in.
- The instructions for Registration are available on the Board’s website (AnnexureII).
- Registration with DSSSB is a onetime exercise.
- The user ID and password generated after registration should be used to log in whenever a candidate is applying for examinations of the posts notified by DSSSB.
- No separate registration is required for each of examination conducted by DSSSB.
- If an applicant submits multiple registrations and appears in the examination (at any stage) more than once, his/her candidature will be cancelled and he/she will be debarred from the examinations of the Board.
- Eligible candidates may apply online through the website https://dsssbonline.nic.in from 24th February, 2026 (12.00 Noon) up to 25th March, 2026 (till 11:59 PM) thereafter, the link will be disabled.
- The candidates must go through the instructions carefully while filling up Online Application Form for the post concerned.
- The candidates must submit their application through Online Mode only.
- No other mode of application shall be accepted.
- Applications received through any other mode i.e. by post/by hand/by mail etc. will not be accepted and shall not be considered. No correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
