Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend during the training period as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act and Apprenticeship Rules.
Candidates applying under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category must possess a valid EWS Certificate issued for the financial year 2026–27.
Reservation for the wards/dependents of serving, retired, or deceased employees of BHEL Haridwar shall be applicable as per the Company’s rules.
Preference shall be given to candidates who are domiciles of Uttarakhand. Candidates claiming such preference must produce a valid Uttarakhand Domicile Certificate.
BHEL Haridwar Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be based on a Weighted Average Merit List, prepared as follows:
70% weightage to marks obtained in the ITI examination.
30% weightage to marks obtained in the High School examination.
In case two or more candidates secure the same weighted average marks, preference will be given in the following order:
Candidate with higher ITI marks.
If ITI marks are also equal, the older candidate (higher age) will be given preference.
If the number of eligible candidates in any trade is equal to or less than the number of available vacancies, all eligible candidates may be considered directly for apprenticeship training.
BHEL Haridwar Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Important Instructions
While registering on the Apprenticeship Portal, candidates must upload all the required documents as prescribed.
The Aadhaar Number entered during registration must be correct.
The candidate’s name, father’s name, date of birth, and other details in the Aadhaar card must exactly match the information entered on the portal.
There should be no spelling mistakes.
Candidates must ensure that the portal displays the message:
“Your Aadhaar is Verified Successfully!!”
If there is any discrepancy in the Aadhaar details or profile information, the candidate should get it corrected immediately.
Any mistake in the Apprenticeship profile affecting online verification may result in rejection of the application.
For registration-related issues, candidates should contact the National Apprenticeship Portal Helpdesk through the contact details available on the portal.
Candidates whose apprenticeship training has already been terminated in any institution and whose gap between the termination date and the proposed joining date in BHEL is less than three months shall not be eligible for apprenticeship training at BHEL.
This condition is applicable as per the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules, 2025, notified in The Gazette of India on 11 September 2025.
BHEL Haridwar Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 General Instructions
Candidates must ensure that they satisfy all the prescribed eligibility conditions before applying.
All information furnished in the application form must be true, complete, and accurate.
If, at any stage of the selection process or even after selection, it is found that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or has furnished false, incorrect, or misleading information/documents, the candidature or apprenticeship training shall be cancelled without assigning any reason, and the candidate shall be solely responsible for the consequences.
