Engineering Officer Grade 1 (Civil):
First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in Civil Engineering.
GATE Score: Valid GATE Score of the year 2024/2025/2026. (GATE paper subject : Civil Engineering)
Scientific Assistant:
First Class B.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized University with 5 years of experience in the relevant subject field.
Engineering Assistant (Electrical):
First Class 3 year Diploma in Engineering / Technology in Electrical with 5 years of experience in relevant field.
Engineering Assistant (Mechanical):
First Class 3 year Diploma in Engineering / Technology in Mechanical with 5 years of experience in relevant field.
Technician Grade 1 (Electrical):
ITI Trade Certificate in Electrical.
Technician Grade 1 (Mechanical):
ITI Trade Certificate in Mechanical.
Technical Attendant Grade 1:
Matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognized Board.
Desirable: Industrial Training Institute(ITI) Trade Certificate of course of duration of two years in the disciplines of Electrical/Mechanical.
Assistant Grade II:
First Class BA/BSc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BCA degree from a recognized university and minimum Grade-B certificate in Basic Computer Course (BCC) conducted by National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) on the closing date of recruitment application.
Note: Only the above-mentioned Basic Computer Course (BCC) conducted by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) shall be accepted. No other computer courses shall be accepted for this post.

Only Indian Nationals who have attained the age of 18 years and above are eligible to apply.
The essential qualifications is the minimum qualification which is mandatory for applying for specified post.
In the event of number of eligible applications being large, CPRI reserves the right to limit the candidates to be called for Document Verification /Skill Test /Trade test etc.
Candidates are advised to keep a regular and close watch of the CPRI website https://cpri.res.in/ for latest updates/notifications.
CPRI shall not be responsible if the information/intimations do not reach candidates in case of change in the mobile number, email address or technical fault or otherwise beyond the control of CPRI.
The decision of CPRI in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of applications, mode of selection, fixing of cut-off marks, conduct of Computer Based MCQ Test/ Skill Test /Trade test etc., will be final and binding on the candidates and No enquiry or correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
Candidates are advised that they should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered with or fabricated and should not suppress any material information while submitting the application/document verification.
If found guilty of misconduct/impersonation/canvassing/use of unfair means the candidate will be disqualified from Document verification process/Computer Based MCQ Test/ Skill Test etc. In case, if the candidate is considered for further process, whose particulars/ information are found false at any stage of selection process, his/her candidature will be terminated immediately without any notice. Canvassing in any form will make the candidature of the candidate liable for disqualification.
Probation for all the posts will be initially for a period of 2 years.
All the posts carry service benefits of Leave/LTC/Medical benefits and allowances as per Government of India norms as applicable to the institute employees.
In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early. CPRI will not be responsible for network problems or any other last minute technical congestion.
All the educational qualifications prescribed shall be from a University/Institution/Board recognized by the Government of India and/or approved by UGC/AICTE/State Government, as applicable.
In the event of a tie in the CBT score or valid GATE score, the tie shall be resolved by placing the older candidate higher in the merit list(i.e., Date of Birth). Persons with Benchmark Disabilities(PwBD): a. Only persons with benchmark disabilities, i.e., those having not less than 40% of a specified disability, as certified by the Competent Medical Authority, shall be eligible for reservation in accordance with the provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and the applicable Government of India instructions.
The specified disabilities shall be those listed in the Schedule to the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
The disability conditions falling under the category “likely to improve” under temporary disability category are not eligible for reservation under PwBD category.
The conditions i.e. “progressive, non-progressive or not likely to improve” are to be treated eligible for reservation under PwBD category as per Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), MoSJ&E OM No. 18-25/2024-Policy dated 17.12.2025.
