NFR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Stipend
- Apprentices will be paid monthly stipend as per prescribed rates as per extant rules.
- Currently, the minimum stipend for NTC/STC holders is Rs.9,600/- per month w.e.f. 11.09.2025 in terms of para 10 of G.S.R. 610(E) dated 03.09.2025 issued by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship under Section 37 of the Apprentices Act, 1961, as circulated vide RBE No. 116/2025.
- Where one or two years’ exemption is admissible under the Apprenticeship curriculum, stipend shall be Rs.10,560/- (2nd year – 10% increase) and ₹ 11,040/- (3rd year – 15% increase) respectively, reckoning prior institutional training as per extant instructions.
- The stipend rates are subject to revision from time to time as notified by appropriate authority.

NFR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Terms And Conditions
- The decision of the Railway Administration in all matters regarding eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications and mode of selection shall be final.
- Imparting of training in Railway Establishments under the Apprentice Act,1961 does not , by itself, confer any right, whatsoever, for appointment in railway services by default.
- In terms of para-10 of Schedule V of the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992, notified on 15.07.92 by the Ministry of Labour, it shall not be obligatory on the part of the Employer to offer any employment to the Apprentice on completion of period of his / her apprenticeship training in his / her establishment.
- It shall also not be obligatory on the part of the Apprentice to accept an employment under the Employer.
- The Contract of Apprenticeship will stand terminated on completion of training.
- However, 20% of the vacancies notified to be filled up in erstwhile Gr.D category (Level-1) posts shall be filled up by giving preference to the Course Completed Act Apprentices trained in railway establishments and possessing National Apprenticeship Certificates granted by NCVT, subject to such candidates found suitable in other aspects and they having scored the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination.
- Canvassing in any form will disqualify candidature and no correspondence will be entertained in the matter.
- Candidature of the candidate shall be cancelled if he/she fails to produce the required original testimonials for verification or for any other discrepancy noticed at any stage.
- Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills all the conditions of eligibility. If erroneously engaged, such candidates shall be summarily dismissed without notice at any stage.
- The Railway Administration does not undertake any responsibility for replying to candidates not selected or not called.
- No correspondence in respect of the application submitted shall be entertained or replied to by this office to any individual or organization.
- No daily allowance/conveyance allowance or travelling allowance will be paid to the candidates called for document verification.
- Candidates need not send any application printouts or certificates or copies to RRC by post.
- Their candidature will be considered only on the basis of the information furnished in the ONLINE application.
- The selection is purely merit based and the Railway does not appoint any facilitation centre for the said engagement.
- The candidates are advised to be aware of/avoid unscrupulous elements promising selection. If they come across such occurrences, they are advised to bring it to the notice of the SDGM/NFR and local police with copy to this office.
- RRC/NFR will not be responsible for any inadvertent errors and reserves the right to correct such errors.

- Candidates will first have to register themselves and then log in accordingly.
- A candidate is allowed to submit only one application.
