- Trade (ITI) Apprentice: Passed ITI in the relevant trade from a recognised institute under the Craftsman Training Scheme.
- Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognised university/institution.
- Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentice: Regular full-time Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a UGC-approved university.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: Regular full-time Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline from a recognised board, university, or equivalent institution.

- Minimum age limit as per apprenticeship Act 1961 sec3 (a) should have completed 18 years age.

- Year of Passing is not applicable to ITI passed candidates.
